The 2009 NFL PPK National Championships were held Sunday, January 17th in San Diego, CA, prior to the San Diego Chargers/New York Jets Divisional Playoff game. Thirty-two participants, representing eight different divisions, competed for top honors. Participants enjoyed a fun-filled weekend that included an on-field, halftime exhibition, showcasing the passing skills of all 32 participants, as well as a live, on-air awards presentation to the eight first-place winners who were congratulated by Ray Anderson, Executive Vice President of Football Operations. More than 3.5 million youth participated in this year’s competition, with the following eight emerging as National Champions:
8-9 Girls

Harrison Wellman of College Station, Texas, representing the Houston Texans
10-11 Girls
Brooklyn Wolosyn of Niagara, Wisconsin, representing the Green Bay Packers

Micha Potter of Mentor, Ohio, representing the Cleveland Browns
12-13 Girls
Alexandra Greer of El Dorado, Arkansas, representing the New Orleans Saints
12-13 Boys
Matt Doran of West Melbourne, Florida, representing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
14-15 Girls
Carissa Miller of Cave Creek, Arizona, representing the Arizona Cardinals
14-15 Boys
Chad Kelly of Buffalo, New York, representing the Philadelphia Eagles
